Just a few weeks to go until BIG sets out on tour. BIG is our funny and engaging show for 3-6 year olds exploring the excitement, adventure, and trepidation of starting somewhere new.
Super and Dino are starting BIG school. Everyone keeps telling them they’re big and ready, so why do they sometimes feel so small? Will this new adventure be exciting or scary? Have they packed their bags with all the right things? Can their friends come too? They’re definitely going to need help to be as brave as a dinosaur and a superhero!
BIG was the first show Dirliebane created back in 2016. We developed BIG in collaboration with three Nursery schools (Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth & Kinross) in 2016, looking at what pre-schoolers thought about BIG school, how they felt, and what their fears were. We loved doing BIG, and it went on to tour schools and venues in 2016, 2019 and 2021. We are delighted to be taking BIG our again in 2026.
We’re taking BIG to nurseries and to venues. We’d love you to see it too.
